Weekend late-night drivers who use State Route 167 near the Interstate 405 interchange in Renton should prepare for lane and ramp closures overnight Saturday and Sunday.
Construction crews are taking advantage of the dry weather forecasted for this weekend to install striping on southbound SR 167. This work is necessary to shift lanes on southbound SR 167, which will then allow crews to move into the next stage of construction of a new flyover ramp for the I-405/SR 167 Interchange Direct Connector Project.
Weekend lane closures:
- Saturday, Jan. 13, to the morning of Sunday, Jan. 14 – Up to three lanes of southbound SR 167 between I-405 and Southwest 27th Street will be closed with a rolling slowdown from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m.
- Sunday, Jan. 14, to the morning of Monday, Jan. 15 – Up to three lanes of southbound SR 167 between I-405 and Southwest 27th Street will be closed with a rolling slowdown from 11 p.m. to 4:30 a.m.
Weekend ramp closures:
- Saturday, Jan. 13, to the morning of Sunday, Jan. 14 – The northbound I-405 ramp to southbound SR 167 will be closed from midnight to 6:30 a.m. A signed detour will be in place.
- Saturday, Jan. 13, to the morning of Sunday, Jan. 14 – The southbound SR 167 ramp to northbound I-405 will be closed from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. A signed detour will be in place.
- Saturday, Jan. 13, to the morning of Sunday, Jan. 14 – The southbound I-405 ramp to southbound SR 167/Rainier Ave. South will be closed from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. A signed detour will be in place.
- Sunday, Jan. 14, to the morning of Monday, Jan. 15 – The northbound I-405 ramp to southbound SR 167 will be closed from 11 p.m. to 4:15 a.m. A signed detour will be in place.
- Sunday, Jan. 14, to the morning of Monday, Jan. 15 – The southbound SR 167 ramp to northbound I-405 will be closed from 10 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. A signed detour will be in place.
- Sunday, Jan. 14, to the morning of Monday, Jan. 15 – The southbound I-405 ramp to southbound SR 167/Rainier Ave. South will be closed from 10 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. A signed detour will be in place.
All ramps will open after rolling slowdowns.
