So is the evening storm right at rush hour a s(NO)w show?

It’s about 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Where’s the snow?

Apparently, it’s still coming.

About 15 minutes ago, the National Weather Service issued a “short-term forecast” that light snow was falling from Bellingham to Hood Canal and west toward the coast. The snow will continue to move into Western Washington over the next couple hours.

The weather service is still saying that 1 to 3 inches of snow will fall somewhere tonight, but warming temperatures will likely wash it away by Wednesday morning.

The temperature at Renton Municipal Airport at about 5 p.m. Tuesday was 38 degrees, a little too warm for snow.
