Community group Skyway Solutions is hosting its first farmers market starting this Saturday.

The Skyway Farmers Market will be from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m., June 25 to Sept. 10.

There will be four vegetable vendors, but the market intends to grow after its inaugural season, said Michael Majeed, organizer.

The market is being put on by the organization and the Skyway/West Hill community at the Marianna Apartments, 11904 Renton Ave. S., Skyway.

There will be a ribbon cutting at 11 a.m. on Saturday.
