The King County Sheriff Office’s communications center in Renton is holding a blood drive on Monday, July 11.

The Puget Sound Blood Center will set up a blood-donor station at the Regional Communications Emergency Coordination Center, 3511 N.E. Second St., in the south Highlands. Hours are 11 a.m.-5 p.m., except for a lunch break 1:30 p.m.-2:30 p.m.

Donation takes about an hour, including processing, donation and recovery.
