The Renton Senior Activity Center hosted its first season-ending “Rocking on the River” Event Sept. 17, featuring a live band, door prizes, a dance contest and lunch from Heaven Sent Fried Chicken.

The event was subsidized through a bequest given to the center by a patron who left the center money in her will for programs.

The Senior Center is presently closed for its annual maintenance and cleaning and is scheduled to re-open Sept. 30.
