RTC to host National Hot Rod Association Champion Antron Brown

Renton Technical College will host National Hot Rod Association Champion Antron Brown on the campus for a series of speeches.

Renton Technical College will host National Hot Rod Association Champion Antron Brown on the campus for a series of speeches.

He is the 2012 NHRA Top Fuel Champion and has a best career speed of 328.78 mph.

Brown will give a motivational speech, sign autographs and take pictures with the public at 9 a.m., 10 a.m., and 11 a.m. on August 1, at the college’s Harry Blenco Auditorium, Building C, Room 101. RTC is located at 3000 Northwest Third Street, Renton.

The event is free and proceeds Brown’s appearance at the NHRA’s “Mello Yello Drag Race,” August 2-4 at Pacific Raceways. There, Antron will compete for the 2013 title.
