Rolling slowdowns planned while sign placed on I-405

During the night and early morning hours of Tuesday and Wednesday, crews may perform a series of 15-minute rolling slowdowns on northbound Interstate 405 near State Route 181 and close two lanes of northbound I-405 between I-5 and State Route 167 while cranes place an overhead sign.

Drivers should expect delays while crews install the sign, according to the Washington state Department of Transportation.

• During the night and early morning hours of Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, crews may close two lanes of southbound SR 167 between I-405 and South 180th Street for roadway widening work.

• During the night and early morning hours on Thursday, crews may close a lane in each direction of I-405 between I-5 and SR 167 for electrical and survey work.
