Renton Technical College’s president and three administrators were selected by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities to be evaluators surveying other higher education institutions.

Steve Hanson, RTC president, Marty Heilstedt, vice president for instruction, Chris Johnson, director of research and development and Eric Palo, library director were all recently trained for the position and join other teams of evaluators. The RTC team will be a part of the process that ensures a higher education institution’s goals are soundly conceived, that its educational programs have been intelligently devised, that its purposes are accomplished, and that the institution is organized, staffed and supported to continue to merit confidence.
