Renton road closures: Week of Sept. 2

Here are the road closures for the city of Renton during the week of Sept. 2.

• Rainier Avenue N. will have intermittent lane closure at Rainier Avenue N and Airport Way for construction work from Sept. 2 to Sept. 5, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

• NE 4th Street will have intermittent lane closure between 156th Ave. SE and 160th Avenue SE for asphalt roadway restoration from Sept. 2 to Sept. 5, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

• SE 172nd Street will have intermittent lane closure between 122nd Avenue SE and 127th Avenue SE for construction work from Sept. 2 to Sept. 5, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

• NE 12th Street will have intermittent lane closures from Union Avenue NE to Pierce Place NE for utility installation from Sept. 2 to Sept. 5, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

• East Valley Road will have intermittent lane closures between SW 41st Street and Taylor Avenue SW for crack sealing maintenance from Sept. 2 to Sept. 5, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

• NE Sunset Boulevard will have intermittent lane closures at NE 12th Street and NE 12th Street for potholing from Sept. 2 to Sept. 5, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

• Union Avenue NE will have intermittent southbound lane closures south of 12th Street for construction work from Sept. 2 to Sept. 5, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

I-405 Closures

• The HOV lane of northbound I-405 from I-5 (milepost 0.1) to SR 167 (milepost 0.5) will be closed nightly, Sept. 2 to Sept. 5, 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.

• Up to three lanes of northbound I-405 from the northbound I-5 off-ramp (milepost 2) to the SR 169 offramp (milepost 3) will be closed nightly, Sept. 2 to Sept. 5, 11:59 p.m. to 4 a.m.

• Up to two lanes of northbound I-405 from SE 8th Street (milepost 12) to NE 4th/8th Street (milepost 13.7) will be closed nightly, Sept. 2 to Sept. 5, 9:30 p.m. to 4:30 a.m.

• Up to three lanes of southbound I-405 from NE 70th Place to milepost 13 will be closed nightly, Sept. 2 to Sept. 5, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.

• Up to two lanes of southbound I-405 from SR 900 (milepost 5) to Sunset Boulevard N. (milepost 3) will be closed nightly, Sept. 2 to Sept. 5, 10:30 p.m. to 4:30 a.m.

• Up to two lanes of northbound SR 167 from South 43rd Street (milepost 24.5) to I-405 (milepost 25.8) will be closed nightly, Sept. 2 to Sept. 5, 9 p.m. to 4:15 a.m.

• The right lanes of northbound I-405 will be fully closed from SE 8th Street to the

NE 4th / 8th Street off-ramp,, Sept. 5 to Sept. 8, 11:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m.

• The northbound I-405 on-ramp from SR 167 will be closed nightly, Sept. 2 to Sept. 5, 10:30 p.m. to 4:15 a.m. A signed detour will be in place.

• The northbound I-405 on-ramp from Talbot Road S. will be closed nightly, Sept. 2 to Sept. 5, 10 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. A signed detour will be in place.

• The northbound I-405 off-ramp to NE 4th/8th Street will be closed nightly, Sept. 2 to Sept. 5, 10 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. A signed detour will be in place.

• The northbound I-405 on-ramp from SE 8th Street will be closed nightly, Sept. 2 to Sept. 5, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. A signed detour will be in place.

• The southbound I-405 on-ramp from NE 6th Street will be closed nightly, Sept. 2 to Sept. 5, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. A signed detour will be in place.

• The southbound I-405 off-ramp to SR 515 / Talbot Road S. will be closed nightly, Sept. 2 to Sept. 5, 10:30 p.m. to 5 a.m. A signed detour will be in place.
