Renton police make narcotics arrests, seize over $2M in drugs

According to Renton Police, more than 31,000 fentanyl pills were found, among other drugs.

After a long-term narcotics investigation, Renton Police’s Special Enforcement Team (SET), Direct Enforcement Team (DET) and Valley SWAT made two arrests recently, seizing over $2 million worth of drugs.

On Tuesday, Feb. 14, a search warrant was served on a residence south of Renton city limits as part of the narcotics investigation. Law enforcement found a variety of drugs, along with $18,727 dollars in cash, one stolen firearm, three other firearms and two vehicles.

According to Renton Police, SET, DET and Valley SWAT recovered 41.23 pounds of cocaine, 13.42 pounds of methamphetamine and 1.31 pounds of heroin. Officials also found 0.18 pounds of fentanyl powder and 31,621 fentanyl pills. In total, the drugs had a street value of $2,340,618.

The arrests were part of an ongoing investigation.
