Renton police investigate possible hit and run after finding injured woman on side of road

The woman was reportedly semi-conscious and unable to describe what had happened to officers.

Renton police are investigating a possible hit and run after finding a severely injured, semi-conscious woman on the side of the road.

At 11:16 a.m. March 10, a Renton police officer observed an injured adult female sitting on the sidewalk at the corner of Lake Avenue South and South Grady Way, according to a Renton Police Department Facebook post.

Upon contact, the officer could see she had severe lower leg injuries and was bleeding profusely.

According to the post, the woman was semi-conscious and unable to describe what had happened to officers investigating. She was rushed to a medical facility for treatment of her non-life threatening injuries.
