Renton police are investigating a shooting that left one man with non-life-threatening injuries Monday night.

Just after 9 p.m., police found the 22-year-old Renton resident with a gunshot wound, inside an apartment building near Hardie Avenue Southwest and Renton Avenue extension. The man was transported, medically treated and released.

Evidence at the scene indicates that a number of shots were fired from outside the apartment into the victim’s apartment, through a window, police report.

Police are asking that anyone who may have seen or heard anything related to the crime contact Detective Kordel at 425-430-7500 and refer to case number 14-805.
