Renton police identify man who reportedly groped kids in Renton, Federal Way

RPD is asking anyone with information about his whereabouts to call 911.

Renton police identified the man who was reportedly seen groping children in Renton and Federal Way last week.

The suspect is 40-year-old man originally from Africa. According to a press release, he is “a transient who has ties to Washington and Alaska.”

He is described to be 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs 180 pounds. He speaks with a heavy accent and several callers said he wears strong cologne, according to the release.

RPD is asking the public to call 911 if he is spotted or if anyone is aware of his whereabouts.
