The Renton Municipal Arts Commission, in collaboration with the South Renton Connection neighborhood group, is seeking to commission an artist/fabricator to create detailed design and installation plans from a concept developed by these two groups.

The artist/fabricator or team must have experience creating durable public art that can withstand public interaction.

This is the first phase of the project.  The second phase will be to manufacture and install the artwork.

The cost of the first phase can’t exceed $6,000, while the total budget is about $50,000.

The deadline is 4 p.m. May 23.
