The Renton Business and Professional Women will honor its 2011 Woman of Achievement and its 2011 Woman of the Year at a luncheon Oct. 21.
Becky Evans is the 2011 Woman of Achievement and Terri Briere is the 2011 Woman of the Year. The local chapter annually honors two outstanding representatives who impact the Renton community.
Community leaders selected the two distinguished women, based on contributions the women have made to the local community, to business in general and to other women.
The luncheon is 11 a.m.-1:15 p.m. Friday, Oct. 21, at Merrill Gardens, 104 Burnett Ave. S., Renton. With reservations lunch is $15 for members and $20 for guests. Walk-ins are $5 additional at the door.
