Police observed she was timid, scared and her hands shook.

She was taken to Valley Medical, where a doctor told police her injuries, which included blurred vision, were consistent with abuse.
Obstruction arrest
A man was arrested after harassing city employees at the Piazza Park in downtown Renton July 20.
The man was making obscene gestures at the workers, as they were blowing leaves in the park.
Police ordered the 42-year-old to stop, but he fled on foot. After a search of the area, police found him hiding in High Gravity beer, with an open can of beer.
He was already banned from public parks and libraries for past actions.

House break-in
Liquor, an antique sword and medication for ADD were stolen from a home in the 19200 block of 164th Street in Fairwood July 21.
Sheriff’s deputies couldn’t determine the point of entry, because the home had been broken into before and the ripped window screens and pry marks hadn’t been repaired.
The victim produced a bagel knife, saying it was used to compromise the master lock.
