The following information was compiled from City of Renton police reports:

A man’s house was burglarized while he was at work Oct. 18 on the 200 block of Wells Avenue South.

The man returned home to find his home was in disarray. An Xbox, laptop computer, camera and several tools from the garage were reported missing.

Three of the window screens were removed, and one window was left open.

Domestic violence

A boyfriend smashed his girlfriend’s leg in a car door before throwing her to the ground, causing dark bruising on her arms Oct. 13.

The couple, who lived together, had been drinking when they began to fight on the 12100 block of Southeast 186th Street.

It was the first time the man hurt her, and the first time she had been abused domestically.

The man also punched a hole in the wall of the apartment. When she called police, he fled on foot.
