RENTON BLOTTER: Homeless woman jumps through McDonald’s drive-thru window

The following information was compiled from City of Renton Police Reports:

A homeless woman jumped through a McDonald’s drive-through window to escape her boyfriend, who had threatened to kill her Sept. 12.

The boyfriend was reportedly dumpster diving in front of Pizza Hut, when she made the slip at the 17630 108th Ave. S.E.

The couple has been dating for 18 months, sleeping in various homeless camps.

An argument started over the boyfriend’s drug use.

The girlfriend told police he then beat her, choked her and threatened to kill her before committing suicide, so they could both “die together beautifully.”

The woman was hiding under a table in the restaurant, looking for the boyfriend’s car, when police found her. She didn’t have any red marks or bruising, nor was she emotional.

Police offered to book her in jail for the night, but she refused the offer.
