The Metropolitan King County Council will hold a public hearing on Monday, October 16 to gather comment on a proposed ordinance that would allow the county to sell a 4-acre parcel to the Washington State Board for Community and Technical Colleges, on behalf of Renton Technical College, Acting through the Department of Enterprise Services.
The public hearing on the proposed sale will be held before the full council at the King County Courthouse, Room 1001 on Monday, October 16 at 1:30 p.m.
The property, which was formerly the Southeast Public Health Clinic is located at 3001 NE Fourth Street in the City of Renton. Renton Technical College is planning to build a brand new state-of-the-art Health Sciences building on the site, part of a larger effort to develop a medical education center in partnership with local hospitals and medical providers.
