According to a tweet from the King County Sheriff’s Office posted at around 8 p.m. Tuesday, Taji Ali was located “thanks to citizens calling in.”
ORIGINAL POST:
King County Sheriff Search and Rescue members are asking the public to be on the lookout for a missing 78-year-old man with dementia who was last seen at the Castle Creek Apartments in Newcastle around 1:30 this morning.
Family members said Taji Ali walked away from the apartment he shares with family members sometime between 1:30am and 9:00 this morning. He has dementia and will be disoriented. He is described as an African American man, 5’10” very thin, with short grey hair and was wearing sandals when he left the apartment.
Ali is said to be very skinny and frail looking but is very friendly and outgoing. Family said he appears to be in relatively good health when looking at him.
King County Search and Rescue members are in the area searching for Ali and would like the public to keep an eye out for him.
