Renton police caught a man with a $10,000 felony warrant on his head for failing to register as a sex offender Aug. 22.
Police were advised of the suspect’s possible location, the 500 block of Burnett Avenue South, before identifying him with a photo from a computer system.
The suspect denied being the man, as police arrested him.
With handcuffs on, the 6-foot, 222-pound man resisted arrest as officers tried to put him in the police car.
Struggling to shut the police door, officers decided to take him to the ground and stun him with a taser.
The man then agreed to comply, asking police not to “do that” again.
On the ride to the jail, the suspect admitted to being the felon.
