Police Blotter: Purses snatched as cousins fight with attacker

Two cousins were waiting on the park-n-ride on the 300 block of South Grady Way, got into a fight and were robbed Sept. 29 at about 10 p.m.

Two girls were play-fighting at the bus stop, when one accidentally bumped into a cousin.

The cousin told the girl, “Excuse me, could you be a little more careful? Cuz’ I ain’t trying to get hit.”

The girl responded, “That was the point.”

At that point the cousins decided to walk to the Chevron station across the street.

Then a girl kicked one of the cousins in the back. When both the girls had started fighting the one cousin, the second cousin decided to help her out.

Dropping two purses to the ground, she began to fight. Then a white sedan came, and two suspects snatched the purses.

A cousin fell to the ground when she reached into the car to grab a purse.
