The incident occurred at about 3 a.m. at the Silver Dollar casino at 3100 East Valley Road when the suspect refused to leave the casino property, according to police. The suspect had fought physically with the manager and a security officer, according to the police report.

When officers arrived, the suspect was on the ground. An officer asked her to stand up. She swore at officers and made threatening motions with clenched fists, according to police. She tried to grab an officer and at that point, she was handcuffed.

She was placed in a police car, where she hit her head against the steel bar across the window. A manager told officers she had argued with another patron and asked that the woman not be allowed to return to the casino for 90 days.

The suspect refused to sign the trespass order and became belligerent, according to police. Officers warned her, then attempted to escort her from the casino property. Still taking a threatening stance, she was arrested. She twice kicked an officer in the knee.

She was booked into Renton City Jail.

Stolen credit card used to buy food

A purse was snatched from the child’s seat of a shopping cart at Target, 1215 N. Landing Way, on Nov. 29 and the suspect used the victim’s credit card about 30 minutes later to buy food at Safeway, 2725 N.E. Sunset Blvd., according to Renton Police.

Inside the purse was $120 intended for Christmas presents for three children.

The purse was stolen by a woman while the victim of Renton was talking on her cell phone. The victim tried to track down the suspect after realizing her purse had been stolen.

The suspect, caught on video and later identified, removed the wallet from the purse, which she then discarded in the cosmetics section of the store, according to police. She left in a Toyota Tacoma pickup truck.

According to police, the suspect then drove to Safeway, where she purchased nearly $200 worth of food items on the victim’s credit card. An officer recognized the suspect from an earlier arrest for a prescription forgery.

The suspect lives in Des Moines; Renton Police were trying to contact her after the incident.

Subway shop robbed of cash

The Subway sandwich shop at 235 Rainier Ave. S. was robbed of about $50 in cash on Nov. 29, according to Renton Police.

The suspect had asked a clerk for change for $1. As she handed over the change, the suspect lunged over the counter and demanded the money from the cash register, according to the police report.

The subject left behind the dollar bill he had originally handed to the clerk and fled on foot.

The suspect is described as a light-skinned black male in his 40s. He is 5-foot-7 and weighs about 180 pounds, with graying facial hair. He was wearing black pants and a puffy jacket, with a hood pulled up over his head.
