Person breaks window at business: At 12:03 a.m. Sept. 15 in the 1400 block of Bronson Way North, there was a report of malicious mischief. An employee told officers they refused to serve a customer due to their walk-up policy in the evenings. The customer was upset and then broke a window of the business. If the suspect is located, there is probable cause for malicious mischief.

Person caught stealing alcohol: At 2:40 p.m. Sept. 15 in the 700 block of Rainier Avenue South, officers were dispatched for a detained shoplifter. Upon arrival, officers contacted asset protection, who caught the suspect shoplifting alcohol. The suspect was placed under arrest and notified that he was trespassed from the store.

Stolen vehicle: At 3:41 p.m. Sept. 16 in the 400 block of Renton Center Way, an officer was dispatched for a stolen vehicle. The victim told the officer she had parked her car in the parking lot, and when she returned the next day, her vehicle was missing.

Person turns himself in: At 10:39 p.m. Sept. 18, a suspect allegedly involved in a Sept. 15 hate crime turned himself in. He was interviewed, arrested and booked for assault and hate crime.

Public drug use: At 3 a.m. Sept. 19 in the 300 block of Rainier Avenue South, an officer patrolling the area observed three people sitting near the dumpster. One of the individuals was spotted using suspected drugs. The suspect was detained and searched. Drugs and drug paraphernalia were recovered. The suspect was booked into jail.
