The public is invited to help the City of Renton develop a master plan for the new Highlands neighborhood park.

The 3.7-acre park located on the current Sunset Terrace property will serve the local residential and business populations.

he park will connect (via sidewalks) to the new Meadow Crest Playground to the north and to the new Highlands Library and existing Sunset Terrace property adjacent to the park, to the south. The park will be located north and east of Sunset Lane and south and west of NE 10th Street.

The open house is set for 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the McKnight Middle School Commons Area, 1200 Edmonds Ave. N.E. Three open house meetings are planned.

Light refreshments will be provided.
