The Renton City Council will not be meeting for the rest of August.

The council and other city boards will not meet again until Sept. 8. The suspension of meetings is for “council holidays” and Labor Day, Council President James Alberson Jr. said.

Meetings will resume on Sept. 8 with the Renton City Council meeting, the Committee of the Whole meeting, Planning and Development Committee meeting, Finance Committee meeting and Community Services Committee meeting.
