Man exposing himself | Renton police blotter

From the Renton police log.

Man trespassed: At 10 a.m. July 14 in the 1200 block of North Landing Way, an officer responded to the report of a trespassing violation. Upon arrival, the officer contacted a man with an active trespass from the location. He was cited and then released.

Sexual offense: At 5 p.m. July 15, a sexual offense was reported to the police department that the Special Enforcement Team’s vice detective is currently investigating. There is no public information available at this time.

Man exposing himself: At 2:10 p.m. July 16 in the 1500 block of Orcas Avenue Southeast, officers were dispatched for a lewd activity call. Officers contacted the victims, who stated a male suspect exposed his genitals to them. An area check was conducted, and the suspect was not located.

Car shot at while driving: At 6:40 p.m. July 17 at the intersection of Jericho Avenue Northeast and Second Street, officers were dispatched to a non-injury shooting. When officers arrived, they interviewed the victim, who said the suspect driver was aggressively following him, driving recklessly and had shot at his vehicle. He finally managed to escape from the suspect and was able to provide a detailed description of both the suspect and the vehicle. The case is still under investigation.

Domestic violence stabbing: At 2:34 a.m. July 18 in the 500 block of Houser Way South, officers responded to a stabbing. Upon arrival, officers learned this was a domestic disturbance between a girlfriend and boyfriend. The male sustained a stab wound, and the female had been assaulted. Detectives conducted interviews with witnesses and contacted the King County Prosecutor’s Office. They determined that the male was the primary aggressor, and he was arrested.
