Man charged for taking photos of boy in Renton Stadium bathroom

A man was charged with voyeurism after being caught taking a photo of an 8-year-old boy in a Renton Stadium bathroom.

Prosecutors claim Jeremy Ramonde Pitts used a cell phone to take a picture of the boy Oct. 3 as the boy used the urinal, according to court documents.

The boy was with his mother watching a football game, when he asked to use the restroom.

As he was at the urinal he heard a click, and looked up to see Pitts holding a cell phone aimed at his waist, according to the documents.

He went to his mother saying, “something weird happened.” She notified staff, who looked for Pitts without success.

The boy then recognized the suspect in the parking lot, and became rigid and upset, according to the documents.

A staff member called police.

Police asked to see Pitts’ phone, and he agreed to go through his photos with them, denying any claims, according to documents.

Police found a photo of the boy, recognizing his gold pants, according to documents.

Pitts claimed it was an accident, saying, “I didn’t take nobody’s picture, man. I’m not gay,” according to documents.

Police pointed out that the photo was taken at waist level, and it couldn’t have happened if he was on the phone.

Pitts is scheduled to be arraigned Dec. 21.
