Jay Inslee, the Democratic candidate for governor, will meet with executives and workers of Shuttle Express in Renton as part of a jobs tour with the CEOs of two local companies that demonstrate the economic and job potential in Washington’s clean tech industry.

On Wednesday, March 14, Inslee will visit Shuttle Express, which worked with World CNG to convert a large portion of its fleet and built a natural gas-fueling station with the support of the Obama Administration’s Recovery Act Grant award.

Tuesday, the day before, Inslee will visit World CNG, the Kent-based company and leader in alternative fuel vehicle conversions from conventional gasoline to compressed natural gas.
