Indecent exposure at the bus stop: At 9:12 a.m. Aug. 12 in the 1000 block of Park Avenue North, officers were dispatched to an indecent exposure. Upon arrival, officers detained a suspect matching the description given to dispatch by the victim. During an interview, the victim stated she exited the bus and sat at the bus stop. The suspect was sitting nearby, then stood in front of her with his genitals exposed. The suspect was arrested and booked for indecent exposure.

Man gropes woman: At 6:25 p.m. Aug. 12 in the 700 block of Rainier Avenue South, officers were dispatched to a possible lewd conduct in progress. On arrival, officers interviewed the victim and her mother. The victim told officers that while she was shopping, a male subject approached her, then squeezed her buttocks, and then ran off. Other responding officers detained the suspect nearby. The victim was able to positively identify the suspect. The suspect was arrested and booked for fourth-degree assault, with a pending sexual motivation to the original assault charge.

Drugs found: At 10:56 p.m. Aug. 12 in the 2900 block of Northeast Third Street, an officer was dispatched for reported drugs found at the location. The officer took possession of the drugs and entered them into evidence at the police department. No suspect information was provided.

Hospital patient assault security: At 6:03 a.m. Aug. 13 in the 400 block of South 43rd Street, officers were dispatched to an assault. Upon arrival, the facility’s security team had the suspect detained. The officer interviewed one of the security guards, who said the suspect was discharged from the hospital, but refused to leave. Security escorted him off the property when the suspect spat into his face. The suspect was arrested and booked for fourth-degree assault.

Domestic violence: At 5:38 p.m. Aug. 14 in the 1500 block of Houser Way South, an officer was flagged down for a physical domestic assault. The victim stated she and her boyfriend were walking near the park when an argument started. The boyfriend then pushed her to the ground and struck her in the lip. An area check was performed to locate the suspect, but he was not found. There is probable cause to arrest the suspect for fourth-degree domestic violence.
