Duck Hunt III is just a few short weeks away and right now there are ducks looking for a host.

The Duck Hunt starting June 18 leads up to the IKEA Renton River Days July 27-29. For the third year, the 30 ducks will hang out at various places in Renton, waiting to be discovered. This year organizers are planning a mystery theme.

The idea is to find all 30 ducks. There are clues, of course, the festival organizers and the Duck Hunt organizers, Lone Shark Games, will post to Facebook. The Renton Reporter also will serialize the clues online at rentonreporter.com.

Duck wrangler Evon Fuerst still has some ducks left. The deadline to apply to host one is Friday, May 25; the cost is $250. She can be reached at evon@lonesharkgames.com.
