Here’s how to play the IKEA Renton River Days Duck Hunt III, leading up to the festival at Liberty Park July 27-29.

Once again, 30 ducks are scattered around Renton for this year’s mystery duck hunt, officially called Duck Hunt III: A Case of Fowl Play. Doctor Ducky has been duck-napped and the goal is to figure out how to pay his ransom.

The hunt requires a game card, available at any location where a duck is hosted or online at the Renton River Days website and the Renton Reporter website. The clues to find the ducks also are posted on the festival’s Duck Hunt page and at rentonreporter.com.

Find a duck and get the game card stamped at each location. A completed game card will help players figure out how to pay the ransom for Doctor Ducky at the festival. The more ducks you find in the hunt, the greater the chance of winning prizes at the Renton River Days.

The duck hunt ends on July 25. Rentonreporter.com is serializing the clues, with a new one posted each day.

Complete details are on the game card.

POIROT: Poirot is a big fan of the Huskies and gets all his gear at this store–and usually picks up a new book too!

CHANDLER: After stopping at the palindromic donut stand outside this building, Chandler went inside.

LEONARD:  Leonard has gone to the library. Which one? To find out, fill in these words to make two famous events. Puyallup ___ / ___stock. (Leonard is courtesy of the Renton Reporter.)

GINNY: Ginny fell off a TALL SEAT when she heard Doctor Ducky was missing, but don’t worry — she’s OK because she’s insured by this company.
