Hazen students recognized for high scores on AP exams

The school was recently recognized for work to increase rigorous course offerings for students and for increasing student participation in AP courses by 350 over the past five years.

Thirty-eight of Renton’s Hazen High School students have earned Advanced Placement (AP) Scholar recognition for their hard work and accomplishments in Hazen’s college-level courses and for their individual high scores on AP exams.

The school was recently recognized for work to increase rigorous course offerings for students and for increasing student participation in AP courses by 350 over the past five years.

Hazen is listed by the Washington Post as among “America’s Most Challenging High Schools.”
