CIVIL PROBLEM

• On July 9 a dispute between neighbors was reported to officers. The police report stated the dispute was over foliage along the property line being cut due to a wasp problem.

BURGLARY

• On July 10 it was reported that a bicycle was stolen from the reporting party’s garage. The report stated the garage door was closed but not secure.

The report added the unknown suspects did not attempt to gain entry into the home and nothing else was taken besides the bicycle.

VIOLATION OF COURT ORDERS

• On July 3 officers responded to reports of a house fire. The police report stated that two of the residents had a no contact order.

• On July 10 officers arrested a female subject for violating a domestic violence protection order with her mom.

BOMBING

• On July 4 officers responded to reports that a possible sparkler bomb exploded in a mailbox. The police report stated the mailbox was destroyed and a fence nearby was also damaged.

• On July 5 it was reported to officers that a improvised firework was used to cause property damage at Renton Christian Center.

VANDALISM

• On July 5 officers responded to reports that an unknown suspect had thrown a rock through the victim’s front window causing it to shatter. The police reported that no entry into the home was made.

• On July 9 it was reported to officers that unknown suspects had shot at a stop sign.

• On July 9 officers were called to the scene where a roommate had caused damage to the victim’s vehicle. The police report stated the roommate was angry and hit the vehicle causing dents and scratches. The report added the roommate was arrested.

ASSAULT

• On July 5 it was reported to officers the victim was slapped and spit on by someone who was locked outside of a home. The police report stated the locked-out subject also kicked the door and broke it.

SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE

• On July 5 officers checked out a parking complaint and determined the vehicle was possibly an unreported stolen.

SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES

• On July 5 officers were contacted by the reporting party who told them a “chemical smell” was coming from their neighbor’s home and they believed it was a meth lab. The police report stated a HazMat team investigated and determined there were no chemicals in the air.

• On July 6 it was reported that a dog went missing from a self storage area. The police report stated the owners believe a patron may have taken the dog.

LARCENY

• On July 2 it was reported that unknown suspects had broken into the victim’s vehicle by breaking the passenger window. The report stated sunglasses, binoculars and two knives were stolen from inside.

• On July 6 officers were contacted by the victim who reported the motor from his boat had been stolen. The police report stated he had parked his boat in his driveway with a for sale sign on it.

• On July 7 it was reported that items were taken from a rental home. The police report also stated significant damage was caused to the property.

TRESPASS

• On July 6 two signature gatherers were contacted at the Fairwood Safeway by officers. The police report stated they refused to leave when asked by the manager. The report added they were trespassed from the property.

FRAUD

• On July 2 it was reported to officers that goods were purchased using counterfeit money.

• On July 6 it was reported that a suspect had deposited stolen checks into the reporting party’s bank account.

CRIMINAL WARRANT

• On July 7 officers stopped a vehicle that had a passenger standing on the outside step of the cab. Upon contact with the vehicle, officers booked one of the occupants on a warrant.

VEHICLE RECOVERY

• On July 8 officers responded to reports of a stolen vehicle left on the side of the road. The police report stated when they arrived on scene, the vehicle was found parked down a trail and had no tires.
