The remaining work on the widening of Garden Avenue North will begin on Monday, June 10, which means some lane closures.

The contractor, ICON Materials, will install signal and illumination features as well as remove an existing signal bridge.

Night work will be required the week of June 24 to install mast arms and signal heads, test the signal and remove the signal bridge.

For the work week June 10-14, the northbound lane on Garden Avenue North between North 10th Street and Logan Avenue North/North Park Drive will close 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.  Flaggers will facilitate traffic movements around the work area on a detour.

Full intersection closure the night of June 27 will be required to remove the signal bridge.

The project is formally known as the South Lake Washington Roadway Improvement Project.
