Farmers Market opening postponed to June 9

The market will open one week later than planned

If you wanted to get fruits and veggies at the Renton Farmers Market today, you will have to wait another week.

The city is postponing the first day of the market for Tuesday, June 9, out of an abundance of caution, according to a press release.

The market will open next Tuesday at 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Gateway Park in downtown Renton, and be open every Tuesday through Sept. 29.

Free two-hour parking is available at the city center garage, and the market is also near the Renton Transit Center.

More information on social distancing guidelines that will be in place at the market is available here.
