The King County Medical Examiner’s Office Tuesday afternoon officially announced the names of the Fairwood couple killed in their home Saturday.

The couple is Robert R. Taylor, 82, and Norma J. Taylor, 80.

However, the medical examiner did not release a cause and manner of the Taylors’ deaths, which is still under investigation. King County Sheriff John Urquhart said Monday the couple was not shot to death but he didn’t offer any other possibility.

The Taylors’ grandson, Michael (Chadd) Boysen, 26, is the prime suspect in their murders. He was holed up Tuesday afternoon in a hotel in Lincoln City on the Oregon coast.

Oregon SWAT has been trying to negotiate his surrender.

King County sheriff’s detectives were headed to Oregon.
