Hundreds of residents piled into Gene Coulon Park Friday for a day of sun, fun, food, friends and fireworks.

There was entertainment all day long on the main stage, facepainting and activities for the kids and it was all topped with a professional, 25-miunte fireworks show launched from the waterwalk at the park.
