Hackney and Bergquist lead in early results for 11th Legislative District

While many eyes are turned to the presidential election, early results in key races in the 11th Legislative District are also in.

King County has seen record-breaking election turnout during this presidential year, and elections expected they would be able to post results for approximately 1 million ballots tonight.

Elections staff said it’s possible the turnout could exceed 90% this year.

“We are prepared to pick up hundreds of thousands more ballots from drop boxes and we are ready to process every eligible ballot that is returned to us on time, including those with the on-time Nov. 3 postmark per state law,” according to elections staff earlier this week.
