Renton Police are investigating a hit and run collision that happened in the 4200 block of NE First Place on Sunday. Witnesses called 9-1-1 to report the incident at about 5:40 p.m.

A 17-year-old boy, who was skateboarding was struck by a white model Dodge Magnum. The suspected driver, a sixteen year old male, has been identified and is in contact with police.

His vehicle has been located and impounded.The teen is suffering life-threatening injuries and was transported to Harborview Medical Center for treatment.
