Don’t forget to ‘spring forward’ tonight

Daylight Savings Time officially begins at 2 a.m. Sunday morning, when the clocks spring ahead to 3 a.m.

It’s time to “spring forward” into Daylight Savings Time so don’t forget to change your clocks before you go to bed!

The idea is to give us an extra hour of sunlight in the evenings. After a series of stops and starts through the first part of the 20th Century, Congress officially established Daylight Savings Time in 1966
