The City of Renton is seeking candidates for one position on the Advisory Commission on Diversity.

The City of Renton is seeking candidates for one position on the Advisory Commission on Diversity.

The member will be appointed by Mayor Denis Law and confirmed by the City Council to serve a two-year term. Members volunteer their time and must live in the city.

The commission’s nine members, promote and and celebrate diversity in Renton.

The commission meets at Renton City Hall, 1055 Grady Way S., on the second Wednesday of each month from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

The deadline to submit the application is 5 p.m., Oct. 17. The interview process will begin in November.
