Dec. 11 marked the final school board meeting for 18-year Board Director Lynn Desmarais. Desmarais has been active in Renton Schools since before her time on the board and announced her retirement earlier this year. Taking her position will be elected Board Director Stefanie McIrvin, who was sworn into office that same meeting.
