Suspects arrested in car crash homicide

Issaquah Police arrested two individuals Wednesday in the Dec. 13 homicide case

Police have arrested two people believed to be involved in the death of 28-year-old Cherno Ceesay in Isssquah.

The two suspects – a 21-year-old woman and 21-year-old man – were arrested for investigation of second-degree murder, and will be booked into King County Jail. They both live in Bellevue.

On Dec. 13 police arrived to a single vehicle crash on Renton-Issaquah Road Southeast to find the man in the driver’s seat who appeared to have died “under suspicious circumstances,” police reported on their website.

According to the King County Medical Examiner, the victim, 28-year-old Cherno Ceesay died of stab wounds to the head and neck. Police believe the suspect left shortly after the crash.

The death of a man found in a car crash Sunday evening in Issaquah is being investigated as a homicide, according to Issaquah police.

On Dec. 13 police arrived to a single vehicle crash on Renton-Issaquah Road Southeast to find the man in the driver’s seat who appeared to have died “under suspicious circumstances,” police reported on their website.
