A community worship service will welcome the sunrise Easter morning Sunday at Gene Coulon Memorial Beach Park on Lake Washington.

The Rev. Gretchen Mertes will preach the sunrise service at 6:30 a.m. at the park’s fire pit shelter, 1201 Lake Washington Blvd.

There will be songs and prayer and a warm fire.

On Sunday at 1:15 p.m., the Celebration Church, 11840 148th Ave. S.E., is hosting an Easter egg hunt.

There are three hunts, based on age, 3 years and younger, 4 years to first grade and second grade through fifth grade.
