Congressmen Adam Smith and Dave Reichert will host the Help Identify Real Employment (HIRE) for American Jobs Fair on Tuesday, Nov. 22.

The jobs fair is 10 a.m to 3 p.m. at the ShoWare Center, 625 W. James St., Kent.

Representatives from more than 75 local employers are expected to attend. Participants are encouraged to bring resumes and prepare to interview onsite.  The fair is free and complimentary parking will be available.

“Adam and I understand that Washingtonians want their elected officials to work together to create an environment for economic growth,” said Reichert. “Our hope is that bringing local businesses and individual constituents together under one roof will increase employment in our communities.  I am proud to be a part of this unique event and will continue to work across the aisle to help struggling families cope with these tough economic times.”
