Community Point of Distribution drill set for May 13

Community members are invited to drive through and collect supplies and emergency preparedness items.

The city of Renton’s Office of Emergency Management is partnering with the Emergency Feeding Program to host a distribution drill from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, May 13 at 851 Houser Way N.

Community members are invited to drive through and collect supplies including bottled water, emergency preparedness items and a box of Girl Scout cookies. Items are available while supplies last.

The Community Point of Distribution is a designated area for emergency supplies during a disaster whilethese supplies may not be available anywhere else. The Emergency Feeding Program may help the citywith supply distribution during an emergency.

This drill will allow staff to work with volunteers in order to practice distributing supplies.
