City View Church in Renton will present a women’s conference and concert with worship artist and songwriter, LouAnn Lee.

The conference is April 15-16 and costs $20 before April 9 and then $25 after. The free concert is April 17 and is open to the public.

Lee, who is the worship pastor at Celebration Community Fellowship in Meadow Vista, Calif., will speak on “Being a confident woman” and “Are you a fly or an olive tree?”

Lee is an singer and songwriter, who has overcome obstacles in her past, such as being the victim of sexual abuse as a child. She has made nine CDs and her latest one entitled “Hide Myself In You” is receiving air play across the country, according to a press release.

Pre-registration to the conference is preferred and payments can be mailed to City View Church at P.O. Box 4008, Renton, WA 98057 or paid in person on any Sunday prior to the event. City View Church is at 255 Hardie Ave. S.W. in Renton.
