Car show raised $13,000 for police

The money was raised as part of this year’s event on July 10.

Officials from  Return to Renton car show presented Police Chief Kevin Milosevich with a check for $13,000 on Monday.

The money was raised as part of this year’s event, which brought approximately 350 competitors and 3,500 spectators to Renton on July 10. The money is used to benefit the police department’s youth programs. Last year, part of the money was used to give every fourth-grader in the city a ball of their choice to encourage outside play.
