Burglars hit St. Vincent de Paul store

According to police, someone entered the store between 9 p.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday and stole computers, a locked safe and more.

Burglars hit the St. Vincent de Paul thrift store on rainier Avenue Tuesday night and made off with potentially thousands of dollars of merchandise.

According to police, someone entered the store between 9 p.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday and stole computers, a locked safe and more.

Employees arrived Wednesday morning to find an exterior door at the store open with no lights on inside the business and called police. According to police, it appears entry was gained by prying open a door.

Anyone who observed anything suspicious in the area or might have information about the crime is asked to call 9-1-1 and reference case number 15-3740.
